Many great things come from the Sea... Session is no different. Born on the fantail of a Merchant Marine ship thousands of miles away, Session began with a guy and a guitar. Once the ship had journeyed back to New York City, the desire to play continued to thrive. Nick Macchia continued writing and playing, and set out to find a couple more musicians. Nick's lifelong friend and amazing bassist, James Johnson joined the group to provide those stunning low notes on the Bass. Brandon Karp, an extremely talented drummer, and Grammy nominated multi-platinum recording engineer, joined up to lay the foundation on the drums. The guys got together to play, and began molding their vision of a sound and stage production that would energize the crowds and keep everyone dancing. Since that point, along with their unofficial member, production manager Dan Keen, Session has been constantly evolving musically and increasing their live stage production... with booming sound ,lights, projections, and more! While continuously playing live, sharing stages with artists such as One Republic, Fabolous, and Freeway, as well as being considered one of the top college acts in the country, the guys stand ready to continue moving the masses and proving to the world, why there is always time for one more SESSION. |
